I needed urgent dental services and when I called my regular dentist's office they were unable to schedule an appointment to fix the issue. After searching online, I came across Downey Modern Dentistry and since they had great reviews, I contacted them. Ryan was able to schedule me for an appointment that afternoon. The office was impeccable and clean. The technology used in the office, such as 3D X-ray machine and a digital machine for crowns, is very advanced. The staff, from the dental assistance, Roxanna, to the office manager, Ryan, are very professional and courteous. Dr. Ma treated me and she is very knowledgeable, thorough, and communicated each step of the process with the work being done to explaining the results of my x-rays. I was very impressed with the high level of professionalism and the excellent client centered service the staff and doctor provided so much so that I decided to change dentists and dental offices and will be seeing Dr. Ma and going to Downey Modern Dentistry from now on. I highly recommend Downey Modern Dentistry and Dr. Ma.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I had such a great experience that I felt like I had to say something. I’ve had a lot of dental cleanings over the years, and I can honestly say this was the least painful one I’ve ever had. Dr. Marie Hernandez at Downey Modern Dentistry was amazing. She was friendly, funny, gentle, and incredibly kind. She made what’s usually an uncomfortable experience feel easy and stress-free. She was also very informative and took the time to explain everything clearly. To be honest, I was seriously considering switching dentist offices before this visit—but after being treated by Marie, I’m staying. She’s really that good. She made a lasting impression, and I just wanted to give her the recognition she deserves.
